  1. I don't know if rules vary by state, but here in Georgia you can teach right away. Go to the county website and apply. My  husband has a BS in Finance and he was able to teach high school level math & business courses , he just has a certain time period to get certified but when you are hired by the school they help you with that and even pay for it I think!Go for it! thats a great contribution to teach!

  2. you need a degree in teaching, as well and thats about it

  3. a teacher qualification

  4. It depends on the high school, whether it is public or private, and what state it is in. Different states have varied requirements for teaching licenses. Contact the Board of Education in the County or City where you'd like to teach.

Most school systems require a specific number of college credit hours in education, specifically for the secondary grades. Some systems might hire an MA in Econ with the condition that those classes were underway and completed in a specified amount of time.

There are a number of factors. Get the specifics from the Board of Ed.
