  1. yes you can. In fact, as long as the tank was big enough, you could swim with any kind of shark you wanted. Sharks aren't born to kill people. They usually only attack people because from below, we look like their favorite prey. Seals and Turtles. So they take a bite of us, but they usually stop after that because they don't really like the taste of human.

As long as the water is crystal clear, and you stay out of the sharks way, swimming with it wouldn't be a problem at all.

In fact, Disney World Orlando has an attraction at Typhoon Lagoon where visitors are able to swim with Hammerhead Sharks and Leopard Sharks. It's called "Shark Reef"

If they let 6 year olds do it at Disney World, I'm sure you would be okay.

    hope that helps!

  2. nurse sharks aren't even dangerous if they do 'attack' you

they eat crabs and such and their teeth are designed to crush shells.. at the very worst you could end up with a broken finger or two.. captive or wild

of course if it's captive you'd need a 20,000 or so gallon tank to house it..

a small catshark is more realistic as you'd only need 300+ gallons
