are you able to still move to australia to live and work, have aus .citizenship? Also I was told after 8-10 years you can request the record be cleared of the offense for first timer offenders. How true is that? Then would that make it able or easier at the above statement.

  1. It is funny that this needs to be asked, given the origins of Australia.


  2. It would depend on what the criminal record was for as to whether or not Australia would want to accept you.  I was not aware that one could just have their records wiped clean of wrong doing.

  3. sure they were all criminals to begin with, they'll understand.

  4. It depends on if the offense was a felony or not, some felonies are wobblers that can be reduced to a misdemeanor then "expunged"

  5. you have to apply for a visa first then when you get their you apply for citizenship, a juvnile,s record is cleared when he turns 18 but once you have a record as an adult its there for ever
