  1. When you dry it throw a few clean tennis balls into the dryer with it.

  2. First of all, after washing, put the comforter in the dryer on the lowest setting, along with a pair of clean, white, canvas athletic shoes without laces – or put a tennis ball or two in a clean white sock and place it in the dryer with your comforter to help separate and fluff the down clusters as they dry. Also, make sure the comforter has plenty of room to toss and fluff as it dries.

Periodically remove the comforter from the dryer and work out any lumps of down.  Be sure to dry the article very thoroughly so it won’t mildew.

  3. Thats why you have to have it dry cleaned only! i love mine and ALWAYS have it dry cleaned (those things are expensive!)

  4. when I worked at the Dry Cleaners we washed them in a large machine  then dried them on medium and hung them over night in the morning we put them in the dryer for another 30 to 60 mins.  never had any lumps.
