If you have a dream of acting in USA,but you're a foreigner,what are my chances of that dream coming true?

Well,one might wonder is there a point to a question as this,but there is.Ive recently returned from my exchange program in USA and during my time there my love for film acting emerged from my childhood.After spending hours on internet looking for a grant,or scholarship or anything,ive started to wonder if anyone ever tried something like this from my country.I am from Serbia.Thank in advance for answering.

  1. Penelope cruz(spain) was a foreigner that made it big in american movies.  Also Nicole Kidman(australia)  There are actually many, but to tell the truth, i think you would be the first serbian :)  As far as male actors go, i think many of those foreigners are from britian (even the ethnic ones)  Your chances of making it as an actor really go up if you can do an american accent though.


  2. Well there might be a great chance for ethnic roles like in the movie "Black Hawk Down" or "Behind Enemy Line".

    I don't know if anyone is planing any movies about the atrocities Serbs committed last decade, but there could be a lot of movies very soon since the Balkans are becoming hot again.

    Hey, you could also act as a Croat victim or a Bosnian victim right, the only difference is that you are orthodox and they are catholic and muslim, and that doesn't show.

  3. Actually youve got a good chance theres lots of foreign actors in the here in the U.S.
