I have that cage but without the second floor and no wheels on the bottom. If you only have one guinea pig that is a perfect size cage, but if you have anymore than that you are gonna need a bigger cage then that. If you have any other questions you can email me at maddieebbyxx3@yahoo.com

go to that page i made that cage with storage cubes and i am planning in adding a second floor because i am getting a 2nd guinea pig now

  3. We have two cages. Also we have have two guinea pigs, so we keep them together in one. We used to use a cage like this....

But then we got a nice one like this...

Ours is a bit bigger than the one in the picture, but its pretty much the same. It's good becase the guinea pigs can't make noise buy chewing on the bars while your trying to sleep. Of course they can still chew on anything in the cage:p

Also if you wanted something smaller, if you only have one, a cage like this would be nice.

Have fun with your guinea pig!:)

  4. See DanaH's reply. Pet store cages are too small.

  5. I use one of those $8 plastic pools from walmart. He LOVES it. He's lived in it for about 6 months. Before that, he had a $60.00 cage from PetSmart. What a waste......

  6. Here are pictures of some of my past cages. I don't have any of my current one which is even bigger.

  7. Not my specific cage, but I have one just like the ones posted on this website.

A C&C cage is big enough to give the guinea pigs room to run around, is easy to clean, and best of all is very cheap!  Pet store cages are very small and don't give enough room for the pigs to play and run.  There should be a minimum of 7.5 sq ft for one guinea pig, and then the space goes up depending on the number you have.  I have a 2x4 grid cage right now and I want to expand a bit.
