  1. He needs fresh air. You should just clean the cage alot. I have a bar cae and it's fine it you claen it.


  2. if you clean it out every three days it wont smell but with a glass cage it doesn't smell much anyway and it wont make your pawpaw sick

  3. It will still smell - the hamster needs fresh air so you need ventilation.

    If you clean your cage religiously, every day, it won't smell bad tho.

  4. If you don't clean it every 2 days or so, the ammonia may build up. Eventually, that can lead to respiratory problems for your hamster. Make sure you have a wire top, and take your hamster out of the cage a lot.

    Just make sure to clean the cage in a timely manner. :]

  5. Um there's not many sicknesses that can be transfered by smell... Usually the only way your pawpaw can catch the disease is by direct contact/body fluids (i.e. snot, saliva, blood {hopefully not blood}, and f***s).
