  1. Nope--- the airline will check your bags all the way through for one fee.


  2. You shouldn't have to.  I believe that is a one time fee.  The only reason you would have to is if in Atlanta, you have to get off the plane...pick up your bags and check in again.  But that usually doesn't happen. they usually transfer your baggage for you, in that case it wouldn't cost you a thing.
