  1. You attach speakers, if the projector or video source doesn't have speakers.


  2. It depends on the projector/film---alot of old school reels don't have sound with the image....you'd have to get the corresponding tapes.

  3. What type of projector?  Digital or film?

    If film, you need speakers, amplifier and a sound enabled projector.

    If digital think of the projector and screen as a TV monitor (i.e. no built in tuner or amplifier/speakers) ... you connect the audio out from the DVD or Blu-ray player (or satellite or cable box) to an amplifier or receiver and that powers speakers. The video out goes to the projector. Some projectors have built in speakers, but they are only useful for basic voice use or for presentations ... you wouldn't use for home theatre/movies/
