No.

There's a (Jewish, I think) proverb that says "If everybody's lives with all the ups&downs were taken into the market to be sold, still everyone would choose their own life". I tend to believe in proverbs as the condensed wisdom of many generations. I think this one in particular speaks about our attitude to our lives: which are a mixture of pre-determined and self made moves with unique outcomes. We like to think in terms "what if" but not actually take action into that direction.

And it's probably for the best.
