My brother and I are both adults now and though I don't think my mum loves one of us more than the other I do think she prefers to spend time with me. I think as adults your children become a bit more like friends and you obviously get on with the ones who are similar in opinions to yourself. My brother has turned into a bit of a snob and doesn't keep in touch with my mum all that well whereas although I live away from her too I phone her every other night and go and see her regularly. Also, we are both teachers (she is retired now) and so she enjoys helping me shop for resources etc, and we like to have lunch out together and things like that. So while she loves both of us I'd say she prefers to spend time with me.

my mum prefers my brothers over me and my sister.

Ok, I dont have a child, but I am one. I know that you just cannot help the way that you feel. If you do prefer one kid over the other, please don't show it. My parents did this and it really messed me up. My sis was their fav.

Most ladies,   will lie on this Question. To be honest with you, Mothers & Fathers will give more attention to there daughters. I have 2 boys and 3 girls and I love them all the same.  I find that the boys are mummys boys and the girls are daddys girls and although they each have their own personality the girls seem to be alot more independant than the boys, they would have me do everything!  lol  :)

I have a daughter who is 4 years old and a son who's 2 years old and I don't prefer on over the other. They both definitely have there own personalities and I enjoy playing different games with each. And I could never image liking one over the other.

No I love both my son and daughter the same,spent the same kind of money on them for birthdays and Xmas etc,in their teen their pocket money was equal.........only difference was in the punishment when needed
