  1. you have to be a canadian resident

  2. No, you cannot.

    1. You must be a resident of Canada.

    2. If you had your license suspended for any drinking related offenses, good luck even getting across the boarder. A DUI is reason enough for CBSA to turn you back at the border.

  3. I don't know 100% for sure but I HIGHLY doubt it.

If you did something wrong in the United States and got it suspended then I doubt they'll just give you another one.

I know if you have a criminal record that you can't come to Canada and start over fresh.

I mean its only common sense that they wouldn't give you one.

  4. First of all, you have to be a Canadian resident to get a Canadian Driver's License.

Second of all, I doubt your license was suspended for leaving your blinker on too long.  It's more likely that it was suspended for drunk driving or dangerous driving.  Both are serious offenses in Canada.  Both would make it very difficult for you to become a resident here.  Depending on the Border Guard, you might not even be allowed to enter the country as a visitor.

  5. No, and if the reason your license was suspended in the US is a bigger crime in Canada, you could be in even more trouble than merely trying to get a Canadian license under false pretenses..
