If you have a text sent to your phone how can you listen to it again after you have hung up?

it's a text to a house phone, how did i miss that important point out

  1. I assume that you're referring to the BT facility to translate incoming text messages into speech for landline use.

    This is the one where their computer rings you up to get you to call 'BT Answer' and then 'reads' the text message to you.

    Not sure that it's possible to listen again.

    If you have one of the clever handsets that's capable of displaying SMS text messages directly then it will hold it the same as a mobile. Very few models will do this so it's always clear on the box if it can send & recieve SMS directly.

    It's possible that 1471 may enable you to access the message again. Give it a test and see if it works.

  2. you dial 1571, which connects you to BT answer, and it will be with your voice messages.

    1471, as the previous person said, will tell you the last person to phone you.

  3. If you have a BT line then yes. Dial 0845 602 1111 to hear messages from the last 24 hours.

  4. Erm its a text. How do oyu listen and hang up with it?
