  1. Here is a step by step guide about converting DVD, Videos, Flash and Youtube videos to iPod video

If you are a Mac user, You can try Handbrake for free, which can be downloaded at

http://handbrake.m0k.org/ . If you are using Windows, there are some free video converters such as Videora, SUPER. They are free, but always do the work without best quality.

http://www.videora.com  Some useful information you can get on the official site:

    http://www.apple.com

  2. You should make sure the video is MP4 or H2.64 video for iPod. Here is a step by step guide about converting DVD, Videos, Flash and Youtube videos to iPod

  3. Ipod only support mp4 and H2.64, so if the video is not the format, you must use a third part software to convert. I think the Cucusoft DVD to iPod Video Suite is your best choice, it can rip DVD movie and convert videos in any format to iPod with fast speed and high output quality.

You can free download and try here:

  4. Use Videora Ipod Converter.

Google it and install it, basically does it all for you!

  5. iPod can not support all format files. It can support MP4 format.

You can lear more from: http://www.apple.com

If the DVD is not mp4 format. You need a convert software to help you convert the DVD to MP4 format. And them transfer the video that be converted to iTunes.

I always use iskysoft DVD to iPod converter. You can download it from:

    http://www.iskysoft.com/dvd-to-ipod-wind...

    for mac users:

    http://www.iskysoft.com/dvd-to-ipod-mac....

Then ,You can  directly transfer the DVD to iPod using iTunes.

  6. You have to convert your video files (*.ifo, *.vob for dvd, or *.avi *.wmv *.mov *.rmvb) into *.mp4 format first. Video Ipod nano can only play MP4 videos.

You could try searching for a video converter to mp4 format in the web. AVS Media Video Converter is a good one http://www.avsmedia.com/VideoConverter/i...

You could also download videos from YouTube and directly convert it to .mp4 format or convert several media types (.avi, .wmv, .mov, etc) using DVDVideoSoft 'Free YouTube to Ipod Converter' http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/guides/dvd/c...

  7. ipod supports mp4 format, so you need to rip dvd movies to ipod mp4 format, and then drag them to your ipod with the sync of itunes library, which can be downloaded from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ for free.

thus, you need a third party program to help you. i googled wondershare dvd to ipod ripper not long ago and found it fairly powerful, practical and easy to use. i noticed that it offers a built-in ipod file manager which helps to conveniently transfer music, video, movies and tv shows between ipod and computer. i personally believe it is an excellent function. here i'd like to share it with you http://www.dvd-ripper-copy.com/dvd-to-iP...

if you os is based on mac, just go to http://www.dvd-ripper-copy.com/dvd-to-ip...

shoot me an email or search answers from http://answers.yahoo.com/ if you are still having questions.

  8. You r all wrong because i just copied shrek  to my desktop so im saving it to my computer and then im  gonna import it to itunes

  9. Because iPod accepts only MP4 video, DVD movie has CSS protected and it's MPEG-2 video, you need special software to convert DVD to MP4 video, and then add it to iPod through iTunes. I always use an iPod converter named Aimersoft, it embeds an iPod manager that can convert and transfer DVD to iPod, works really nice for me, here is a guide about it

    http://www.aimersoft.com/tutorial/dvd-to...

Hope it helps, if you still have problem, feel free to e-mail me :)
