  1. yes .  call your insurer

they deal with the claim from the 3rd parties insurer

  2. Phone the claims department of your insurers and give them the details of your claim. They will then send you a claim form to complete.

  3. Yes you need to call the claim department also you need to report the accident to the police as well it is an offence not to.

  4. Do you have to?  Well, no.  If you want to go through it all by yourself you don't need to.  But if you are paying for insurance, why not use it?

  5. Your insurance policy (which is a contract) probably states that you need to report all accidents to them.  You pay a premium for the coverage you have, why would you not want to use it.  If you don't have collision coverage, then, yes...report it to the other insurance company.  But do let your insurer know about it.

  6. Call your insurance company. Since it's not your fault then your insurance company doesn't pay and your rates stay the same.

  7. Call the company that is responsible for causing the damage.

Good luck and I hope this helps!

  8. If you cannot be bothered writing your question properly so I do not have to guess what you mean, then I cannot be bothered giving you a decent answer.

  9. If the other party's insurance is not cooperating with you or if they are not processing the claim quickly, call your insurance.  Go through your insurance company for the repairs, but be aware that you will most likely have to pay a deductible.  By doing this, you will definitely speed up the process because your insurance company is going to cover you regardless.  Then once the repairs are completed your insurance company will go after the other party's insurance to get reimbursed and also reimburse your deductible.  Good luck!
