If you have applied for a British passport and citizenship and you're waiting for it, can you in the mean time exit Uk; or you have to wait until you get your passport and everything's sorted out before you can travel outside UK???

you are not clear first of all, on your original citizenship, that is where all the difference will come into play,

it all depends where you are from?and how you entered the UK?if you needed a visa to enter the UK?

always best to wait for your passport, that is my opinion only .............
