  1. It was our first cruise, so we were taken by everything!!

When you first walk onto the boat, we couldn't get over that it was really a ship! It was fantastic!

The food! amazing..and tons of it. Crazy

Cruising is sooooo relaxing. I'd recommend it to anyone.

  2. All the different activities you can get into, and the food and drinks were plentiful and delicious, the outdoor pool, and jacuzzi, the different performances, and comedy shows.  I love everything about cruising including not having to worry about money except for when you exit the cruise.

  3. 2 great moments come to mind.  Snorkling in St. Maarten with my kids was awesome.  Getting tipsy in the piano bar with my brothers & sister and singing along to our favorite songs. They are great family memories.

  4. I got married in the middle of the ocean on the Caribbean Princess.

  5. walking up the gangway on the 1st cruise,  1st time scuba diving.  Watching my kids faces first time they saw a cruise ship.  Zip lining in Jamacia, Seeing Mayan ruins in Belize.  alot of stuff.

  6. my first cruise (before 9/11)- my mother and i flew from ohio to new orleans for our very first cruise.  now we made sure our plane got there several hours before we were supposed to be there, because we thought we would look around for a bit- but wouldn't you know it, the plane was delayed. . . . then cancelled!!!  so when they finally got us on the plane, we wouldn't be in new orleans until around 3, but we thought no problem since the boat didn't take off until 4, but of course, the new plane we were on got delayed!!  so mid-flight, we called the carnival cruise line to ask them what we should do and they said they would hold the boat until the very last moment and when the plane finally landed there was a carnival representative there to meet us to make sure we got a cab and on our way (i thought that was really nice!!)  she told us that since it was sunday the traffic should be light and we should just make it. . . . yep, you guessed it, there was a pile up on the highway!!!  we told the cabby to drive on the shoulder and if he could get us there we'd give him the best tip ever!!  so he was driving like a crazy person (bless him!!)  and when we got to the boat, they were actually pulling the pins from the gangplank, so i told my mother to hold the boat and i got all our luggage, so she actually went up and stood on the last pin so they couldn't pull it out!!  it was so funny (nerve racking at the time, but funny now!!)!!
