If you have bought something on ebay, how do u know that they have shipped it without having to contact them?

I know it's a pain in the butt but before you even bid on the item you should contact them to find if they will even ship to you and the costs and time cause it all depends on how you'll pay and how soon and if you need it sooner you can usually ask the seller to mail it express but it will cost extra also if your shipping across borders customs can slow it down and cost you more $$ hope that helps some what

most sellers will send a message to you when they've sent it, but  why not just ask the seller if you have a query.

The seller will usually state how long it takes to ship, but I always contact the seller when paying and ask them to confirm. Sometimes there are tracking numbers depending how it is shipped. Open communication is still the best way.
