  1. If your suicidal why would you feel like studying anywhere? If you allready have the visa, of course you can.  If your applying for one I don't know if there is a question on it that relates to depression but of course you have free will in how you would answer that.

    I'm a somewhat suicidal person who at the present time feels strong and ready to study in the summer semester. I recommend doing something constructive about your depression. I withdrew from my classes in the fall semester when depressed and even had a plastic bag around my head to see if I could suffocate myself.  But the thought of going to whatever the next life is like feeling dishonored and as low as I was, I changed my mind.

    Sometimes new surrounding can help, a change of scenery, but it mainly has to do with your thinking and feelings.  Death isn't the worst thing in the world but at least the option to enter it is something no one can take away from you.  I still prefer life for now.


  2. How would they know you were depressed---guess I am not sure how it works.
