  1. Well. If you travel to the Philippines on simply a US passport, you can only stay for 21 days without getting an extension visa.

  3. I think Philippines will issue you some kind of card that shows that you are still a Filipino Citizen even you have a US Passport.  A Passport is really a traveling document and you can go more places with that US Passport than with a Philippines passport without a visa.

  4. Not necessarily...people in the Philippines can survive, live and die without even being issued a passport. Having just a US passport is just fine...actually more than fine, since you wouldn't need to have a visa to go anywhere except for school or work.
