If you have ever changed fuel injectors, please read?

Question

I changed a couple of my fuel injectors yesterday and while trying to wrestle the fuel rail off, I removed the little clips off of ALL the injectors.

The problem is I forgot to put them back on.

From what I can tell they really dont do anything, the fuel rail bolts hold all of the injectors quite nicely. Should I bother going through all of the trouble to put them back on?

Or should I just wait until the next time I have the intake off?

As long as the wire connector for the injector is tight then you can wait until the next time.......
