  1. I have seen the EXACT situation you are in. Make absolutly sure you get that test done as soon as possible because my best friend waited over a year to have herself tested because she was petrified of the result.I can honestly say ive never seen someoe so scared in my life, she kept it to herself for all that time and told me the day before, I made her have it done, it was negative. Of course im not trying to say thats gonna be your answer but i pray for you it is. You should tell somebody if you havnt already and maybe phone an hiv helpline?  You will need support either way and it may be possible to get results the same day, my friend did as she was in such a state.

For your future refernce, i hope you make sure you use a condom with every partner in future, unless you KNOW that your both clean, cos wether your black, white, fat, thin, g*y or straight you should treat every sexual partner as having the same risk factor. That way you'll always be safe. I really hope you get negative.Dont delay it though cos you'll convince yourself you have it.Good luck.

  2. If you have s*x with them, it doesn't necessarily mean you're going to get it.

However, the odds are against you if he has it.

You're right: AIDS is prevalent in Africa.  1 in 4 people have it.  So there's a 25% chance he has it.

And then maybe a 75% or higher percent chance that you can catch it from him.

I don't think I have to stress what a stupid person you have been.

But I think we all need to hear it from time to time.

    Get yourself tested.

Walk around and enjoy what life feels like.

  3. May be. Let's don't worry you must wait for 3 months to check your blood and observe your sign +symptoms together if that not found infection you must wait for 3month add to check again then 1 yrs. and then 18 month . If not found that well. If that found you need to treat by team of ARV therapist.

  4. HIV is not transmitted 100% of the time, but a person could contract HIV from having s*x with an infected person only once.  HIV antibodies usually show up on tests within 3 months of infection, but in rare cases, it can take up to 6 months for the antibodies to show up.  You should be tested 3 months after your last possible exposure, then retested 3 months after that.

  5. No.  Absolutely not.  The virus enters through a break in your skin. Virus won't always find it's way to such a break. That's why it's more prevalent in g*y guys, anal intercourse makes more teensy little tears than vaginal s*x.  That he is from Africa is not relevant,  it only matters if he was sexually active in Africa.  We know now that the risk of infection is lower in circumcised men, if that helps you.  And you're right, no test will be definitive for about three months.

Worry is a good thing when it helps you to act smarter.

  6. Apparently the chance of catching the virus from a one off heterosexual partner who has the virus is 1 in 500 if no condom is used, according to a report published in the current issue of The Journal of the American Medical Association.

But still your playing with fire

If its been less than 72 hours you can start on PEP anti viral drugs which I would highly recommend if you really think he has it. Contact your local Sexual Health clinic

  7. 8. 99.9% chance.

  9. Don't worry till you know the facts.  (If you have s*x unprotected with anyone you are playing russian roulette with your life).  Let this be a lesson learned and I pray you are ok.

Get a thorough set of tests done for all STD's and take the HIV test.  You will have to repeat the HIV test again in 6 months.

Please let this be a lesson for you.  Your body is your temple, take care of it.
