  1. Most states if you only have a permit than someone who is 21 or over has to be in the car. But in other states its gotta be someone 21 or over OR a licensed driver.

But to make sure look up your secretary of state online and it should say somewhere on there.

  2. The way it works is if he has a permit then he has to have a licensed driver over 18 or 21 in the car with him at all times and cannot drive past a certain hour. ( I believe 6 or 8oclock). So in short yes you guys can get in trouble. Although they really won't do anything to you they'll just impound the car

  3. Depends on the state you live in. I have to say yes.

  4. IT is illegal unless his parent/guardian is with him.  Didnt they teach you that in driver's education?  He cant drive your car either because he isnt your child and you're not his guardian and you dont have him on your insurance!  The cops would HYMN you up quickly son.

  5. if your friend drives your car and causes a wreck

    someone is killed

    or there is damage

    you will be held responsible

    because it is your car

call you insurance agent he will tell you

if it is a hit and run

they look for the registered owner

  6. Yes u can cause they would say u are not old enough even though u have your license, If some has a permit u suppose to be 21 to be able to legal let the other person drive your car.

  7. You cannot be in the car with him when he drives.

But if you are not in the car, he can drive it all he wants.
