  1. Yes you can, to a certain extent.  When Sony released the FW 2.40, it enabled music in game but only if the developer of that game makes it compatable.  So basically future games might get in game music support if the dev wishes, but if you want in game music in current ps3 games you will have to wait till they release a patch for the game if ever.


  2. only like pixel junk monsters and PAIN i think can play music while in-game. other games would need an update for the function to work
