If you have requested someone to be a friend on Facebook?

If the "Friend Requested" grey text disappears after clicking "Add as Friend" but that person hasn't shown up as a Facebook friend then does that mean they have ignored your facebook friend request (rejected you)? I copied the Add Friend link and pasted the ID of the Facebook user into the URL but again but all it then said was "You already have a friend request pending with X Y" where X and Y is the first and last name of the person. The "Friend Requested" grey text then reappeared.

That means your friend has rejected you.

they could of rejected u or they havent accepted u but did not reject yu yet

it means the person just didnt add u yet thats all! maybe they havent logged on in a while they havent officially ignored u until the message about how u have a friend request pending goes away

Yeah, whenever you say the "Friend Requested" thing in grey text, you requested to be friends, except the other person hasn't accepted yet. I don't think it absolutely means the other person rejected you (although that is also possible) cause it might just mean the other person hasn't accepted you YET. :)
