  1. I hope not.  Everyone has a past, but stealing even if it is under "50 Dollars" is not like going out with the boys and getting drunk while underage, it speaks directly to your integrity.


  2. This offense shouldn't be a problem with ANY state POST standards, HOWEVER, many departments have their own more strict "personal history" criteria, including drug use and theft, which can be very lax, or VERY strict.  This should not be an issue with most departments, but could be with some.  Also, if you were under 18, it shouldn't matter to any of them.
