What illness is that? Is that a stroke? I'm not having one now, but it's documented that I had this twice when I was 5 yrs. old, & the doctors said they couldn't determine what it was, but they knew it was a neurological problem. It lasted for 45 min. or longer. This was way back in 1989. Now, I'm 24, going on 25. If it's not a stroke, then what does it sound like?

  1. The best answer can be determined by a Neurologist ,if not properly diagnosed some symptoms can be fatal.

  2. It does not sound like a stroke, although it may represent atypical seizures, especially if you had a fever at the time.  The fact that you have presumably not had recurrent symptoms over the last 20 yrs is promising.  I doubt that anyone can give you a firm diagnosis this long after the fact, but that any attempt would be speculation and not very helpful.
