If you have to appeal with a prelim grade for a standard grade do they do it before you get sent the results?

If you fail or don't get the expected grade on one or more of your standard grades and your school has to appeal using a prelim grade,do they do that before or after you get sent your results?

  1. After you get your results.

    Your teacher will appeal for you, if they think you have under achieved, after SQA results.

    If the appeal is sucessful you are sent a new certificate with your prelim grade, howver not all appeals are sucessful.
