Question:

If you have two lines on an ovulation test....?

I know it's "negative" if your test is lighter than the control, but does the fact that there are two lines mean there is some LH, or that the surge will happen soon, or does two lines mean nothing at all if the test isn't darker? These OPK things seem so fickle and tricky.

  1. Amen!  I just tested for the first time today and I dipped the wrong end at first and had to use another (I got the cheap ones online) and one line was a little darker than the other but they were both pretty light!  Just BD just incase!  Last month we did it every other day and I'm just going to everyday because I looked at peoples bbt charts and those that were preg. had s*x more often!  *Baby dust!*

  2. I think there will always be a line...

As the days go by the line should progressively get darker. They are very tricky!

It would be a bit easier if you get the digital ones BUT you have to make sure you have s*x before you get a positive b.c those tests are known to give you positive after ovulation. But at least you will have a solid knowing of when you ovulated!

    Good luck!

  3. you always have LH in your system so a light line is considered normal, if it progresses to dark and then as dark or darker than the control its positive. Check out peeonastick.com they have plenty of info on these tests that is interesting!! Good Luck!
