If you have worked in a restaurant???

after seeing the movie Waiting it makes me question my food at times....have you or anyone you worked with messed with anyones food for being a ******???

No but I have been tempted and heard some ugly stories!  Waiting was great, I love Dane Cook....

I was a waitress as a teenager.  I absolutely never did that but more than once, I caught the cooks messing with food brought back (you don't want details). Another waitress used to do things to the food of customers who complained, who was caught and fired.  It's more common than you think.

I've been in the biz all my life.  Never, ever have I heard of this really happening.  But, it's best not to abuse your wait person.  Also, buffets naturally acquire body fluids - so stay away from them!

i haven't personally but my friend got mad enough at a group of customers so they ordered a wine and cheese platter and she rubbed the pieces of cheese between her toes (she has smelly feets) i thot it was funny..and those ppl LOVED the cheese...

i don't think i would mess with stuff tho..i like food..destroying it would be going against myself instead of them..so..instead i'd just curse them and smile like i want to kill them. ha. cheers.

I have owned three different resturants, and to my knoledge, I havent known of anybody tampering with food, but if they did, I wouldn't only fire them, I would press charges. It is a crime and has very hard penelties.

Yes I have worked in a restaurant where we messed w/ the food. Be nice to the help otherwise you could end up w/ a surprise.  Be especially kind to teen-age fast food workers.

I have worked in a few restaurants never waiting tables but sometimes the girls would talk about costumers being butholes.they might get a smaller portion but it would be unprofessional to spit in there food or drop it on the floor you have to maintain standards you will always get c**p costumers. the restaurants name is at stake.
