If you haven't paid your DMVregistration & you need to drive the car to the smog place, dmv, repair shop, how

is this possible, if you have no registration to begin with becaue it's late because you can't drive the car to get it smogged, then what ? How can you ever get to the dmv to pay the fee?

If you need to physically drive the car to get it smogged and repaired?

Take a bus or get someone else to drive you to pay the registration.  It's not hard.  THEN take the car where it needs to go for testing.

its illegal,in every state to drive an unregistered car,for any reason,and its most likely uninsured also.call a tow truck.

I'm assuming CA?  You pay your fees without the smog certification to keep registration current, which buys you some time to get it fixed.  If you didn't do that, and are expired already, look in the Yellow Pages under "Tow truck".
