If you having weird side effects related to a medication, how can you get it out of your system faster?

  1. You can't usually do more than discontinue it and wait.


  2. By discussing with your doctor whom have prescribed the medication to be stopped, replaced by other medication for the same treatment or minimum dosage be given in order  not to have weird side effects related to a medication you are currently taking.

    To get it out of your system, a simple way will be to drink a lot of water but chemically every medicine have their life time and a human body's multi-systems plays a factor too in order to getting it out of the body.

    However, most side effects of a medication goes away once stopped / replaced / strength of dose be reduced. Unless if any permanent damage have been done by it's dose then in such case, further treatment will be required and will depend on the severity of harm caused by the side effect/s of any medicine.

    Last but not the least, if your current doctor can not provide any real help then You may always visit another doctor preferably better than the one You got right now.

    2. get the antidotum if you know

    3. drinking much water to eliminate via urine

    4. hemodialysis

    5. ipecac to induce vomiting

    6. consult your doctor
