If you hit the jackpot and never had to work again...?

Would you donate money or would you donate time to your favorite cause? What is your favorite cause?

I might volunteer to read to blind teenagers.  That's about it.

I would neither donate money nor donate my time. I'd buy things!

Depends on what the jackpot is, and I have enough family I could help out without donating money to a cause.

I would donate money. I would take half of the money and set up a trust so that the interest it gained annually would go to charities. The charities it would go to would change from year to year, and setting it up this way would insure that there would constantly be money to go to them.

BTW this is something I've planned to do for years, so I've already looked into the legalities of it and would be able to set it up easily should I ever win.

I work in an assisted living center for senior citizens.  I would go in and not be paid.  I would love to develop a program there with a bus and money for people to get out of the building and do more.  These people give up everything to come live there and hardly get out of the building except for appointments.  I would also do a similar thing with the mentally handicapped in our town.  If I won big, I would fix up houses for the senior citizens and low income in our area.  Oh, all the things you could do, the list is endless!

If I hit the jackpot, after securing my future I would put all my money into a project I've had planned for a long time.  It is a homeless self-help program which allows people to get off the streets and into programs that actually allow them to grow.  There is so much stuff that I have studied to try to make this work so I won't go into all my details.  But I would use my money to start this up.

I would also give more money to the HRC and to Animal Humane Society

I still would work if anything part time, and go on to college, I would like to be nurse without borders, and one day have my own animal rescue.
