  1. the air in the ballon will expand it 'cos it only a small flame & the ballon still can be inflated further.

  2. It will pop.  I am a science teacher and I have done that with my kids in class and it does pop

  3. Well, I'd have to say I dont belive this is possible.  If it is, the it must not be filled with air or helium.  I'm positive I've seen many balloons pop from falling on a candle at birthday parties.

  4. A ballon filled with water would pop.

  5. it does pop! because of pathagoreans theorem

  6. The balloon is filed with water, and the water is absorbing the heat so fast the rubber doesn't get hot enough to fail?

or the balloon not filled with anything (in which case it is likely to burn, but not pop)

  7. it does pop

-take that balloon and fill it with water, and it wont pop due to the thermal inertia of the water

  8. They always did when I was a kid. The flame burns through the rubber immediately and the balloon definitely pops.

You're not referring to passenger carrying hot air balloons are you?
