Under the private school option in Louisiana, do you have to send in any of your work or take a standardized test?

  1. NOPE!!!  No testing or verification of any kind required.  However, if your student is going to graduate and go to college, and you want him/her to get the TOPS scholarship, you'll have to sign up under the Approved Home Study option for at least the last two years of high school.

  2. NOPE!!!! Under the Private school option in La all you have to do is send a letter to Dr. Aseyene (sp?) with in 30 days of starting. The child has to be in attendence for 180 days. There are no other real regulations. You can find the law at http://www.youcanhomeschool.org/starther...
