If you inject yourself with a syringe full of air, what happens?

Last night i had a dream that i injected myself with a syringe of air in my arm and died

I just wondered what would happen if you did it in real life

If it gets into the blood stream it causes a heartattack.

if u inject yourself with air, the air will pass through your blood vessels as an air bubble and when it reaches your heart and when your heart compresses the air bubble will oppse it and you will die of heart attack.. so dont inject yourself with air using syringe

if you put the needle into a vein then yes you will die. it would send an air bubble into the heart and and your heart would stop beating.
