  1. I thought the line out would be taken from where the ball crossed the touch line - surely no advantage can be given to the team who kicked the ball?


  2. Good question - but I guess there should be no advantage to the kicker so where it crossed the sideline if it is no further than where the player kicked from - haven't room at my place for the latest version of the Rules so it's only an educated guess.

  3. Logically, one would think where it crossed the line.

  4. The captain of the team that has a throw-in has an option - does he want it thrown in from where he kicked it or from where it crossed the line.
