  1. It is best to mulch your flower beds to keep weeds at bay. Any that come through the mulch should be removed before they have time to make seeds. I have found out that if you fertilizer your lawn it will help your grass to grow which squeezes out weeds.


  2. you'll always get seeds brought in by birds or the wind so you'll have to keep weeding I'm afraid

  3. You will always have weeds but to cut down on them dig them out by the roots don't yank the tops off. Also get them before they seed. There is an old gardener's saying that if you don't get it before it seeds you will weeding the same plant for 7 years so get the whole thing out early.
