If you know ANYTHING about MIcrosoft...please help?

I have Microsoft Works 9.. and Microsoft 2002(the lil pack that has like 5 cdroms.. that range from microsoft encarta, streets, etc...) I have an assigment..that is powerpoint..but it wont let me view it!! ... I don't have anymoney to buy another version at this point...and I need to have this assigment done...

Please help..

DO yOU know how to access a powerpoint using either of these two programs...

  1. MS Works is a very basic text editor, like a glorified notepad.  MS2002 fun pack is a resource pack.  Neither will allow you to view, edit or create Power Point presentations.

    If you can't afford MS Office, then use the (much better and free) OpenOffice.  You can download OpenOffice for free on their site: http://openoffice.org

    It is a large file, but it comes with everything.  I mean everything.  Word Processor, Spreadsheet, and on and on.  The one you want is Presentation (the orange icon after install).

    The great thing about OpenOffice is it will open MicroSoft applications, and you can create a power point in OpenOffice and then save it in MS format so MS Office can open it as well.

    Click the start button.

    Go to "All Programs"

    And find Microsoft Office.
