If you know about ice baths, read this!?

okayy so im really soar from cheerleading doubles, and i wanna take an ice bath but i dont have that much ice.

what if i filled my bath up with really cold water..would that do something for me?

  1. For sore muscles, heat works better at pain relief than cold does. Take a long warm bath and heat the heat really soak into the muscles. The heat will relax and loosen the muscles, soothing them and helping to get out any knots or tight spots. A cold bath would temporarily numb the muscles but would actually make it feel worse once the numbness wore off-- the cold would stiffen and tighten the muscles.
