I will try to explain this the best i can. If anybody could help i would love you...

Anyway, heres the deal. I have a D-Link wbr-1310 wireless router. I was trying to set up a DMZ for my playstation 3. But i had to reset my router to log into the router. I gave my ps3 a static ip, 192.168.0.99. I went into the router and entered that same ip into the DMZ part.

I dont think that it is giving it to the playstation because, i am still getting disconnected from the network, and cant join some games, and get the error message "Disconnected because your NAT/Router is too strict."

I don't know what else to do :( If you need more info i will add it on, just say so. Or if you have AIM and think you could help out i would appreciate it. Thanks!

  1. DMZ should work, but however you can try port forward first( at least it is more secure)

From port forwarding (the first option on the menu on th left)  put any name you like, and the ip add., of your PS the port the starting port: 10070 and ending port 10080 traffic type any

In addition, please note these additional ports for the following titles:

    SOCOM I,II,III:

    TCP Ports: 10070 - 10080

    UDP Ports: 10070, 50000

Voice Chat: UDP 6000-7000, 10070 (for headset operation)

    Frequency

    TCP Ports: 10070 - 10080

    UDP Ports: 10070

    Allow incoming ICMP Echo Reply

let me know if it works for you
