  1. yes they will die but takes many many months. batteries have a leakage current but it is so small it would take a couple of years. it is a good idea to take the batteries out as with any type of control. if you have had batteries in a remote control for too long they leak out.

  2. Yes, since the Wii remotes never shut off, only go into a standby mode (To have them actually shut off, theyere were need to be a hardware switch or button with two different positions to turn them off) . But the power consumption is so small you'll never notice it. Rechargable batteries will lose their charge slowly over the course of about a month.

  3. No. Nothing is using the energy in the battery so it wont go. if there is something using the energy in the battery then it will go. Be sure to watch that the wii remote isnt on

  4. no unless youre pressing buttons

  5. I Dont see how it could!

  6. No, it won't decrease unless you don't use it regularly.  Like if you leave the batteries in there for a year and never use the remote, then the batteries will drain.

  7. no it wont die i keep mine in there all the time

  8. no. it's just like putting batteries in anything else.  the batteries will only run down if ur using the wii remote.

  9. no i dont think so but my cousin does but she is crazy lol!
