...and turn off the light inside, do you use more electricity than when it's closed? lol!

  1. Is this how you are going to cool your kitchen?  Yes it would use much more electricity as the refrigerator would have to run continuously to try to keep things cold.


  2. yes, cuz the compressor will continuously run, instead of cycling on and off as when the door remains closed.

  3. Only in  the light bulb and those are  to little to make any difference.

  5. Yes, the compressor that will now need to work harder takes more power then to run that tiny bulb.  And btw, kinda a nutty Q.  you sound bored.
