  1. The driver chose to break the law. The driver pays.

Besides it is given to the driver, not to the car.

    good Luck...

  2. It vary's from stste to state. usually if the ticket is something wrong with the vehicle(ie. broken tail light) you are responsible as the owner. speeding is responsibility of the offender!

  3. Not to worry!! A ticket is an offence against the driver, therefore the points are added to the drivers license of the person that was ticketed. Unless it is a photo radar where the plates picture is taken then the registered owner of the vehicle is mailed the ticket. Ive never seen anywhere that does that except where i Live  (calgary, alberta!!)

  4. The driver has to pay the fine not the vehicle owner.

  5. tickets are issued to the licensed driver regardless of what they are driving. Your friend would have to pay as his info is on the ticket

  6. the friend.  but it can affect your insurance rate because you allow "at risk drivers" drive your car.

  7. That depends. A parking ticket is issued to the registered owner of the vehicle. Moving violations are citations issued to the operator. IF vehicle equipment or safety  violations are added to the moving violations, then the registered owner would PROBABLY be held responsible.
