If you like the smell of something, will you like the taste of it?

I'm talking about edible things more than I am about things like perfume.

I don't like the taste of perfume ;)

ANYTHING with garlic or cinnamon on it ( including my girlfriend), especially when one is hungry.

Usually the way something smells is a cue as to whether you'll like the taste of it. Some things taste great but have very little aroma, like fresh veggies, but if you pass by the kitchen and something smells great, you'll probably like the way it tastes, too. Smell is an interesting sense since it can make you remember something from years before just with a whiff of scent. That may help you enjoy your food more, if it reminds you of what your mom used to cook for you or brings back happy memories, but it's usually just the aroma itself that tells you if you'll like how something tastes.
