  1. I would ask out whoever I wanted.  If they don't drink, that's fine.  Now, it's no problem to spend an evening without alcohol.  If they didn't mind me drinking, I would probably have a drink during dinner.   And of course, without them my drinking habits would remain unaffected.

Having my drinks counted is out of the question, though.  It immediately implies a mistrust and the feeling that the non-drinker is somehow on a moral high ground, when in fact, they are not.  Someone who insists on counting drinks is not worth my time.

  2. nop i lyk variety

  3. I would prefer that they not mind if I drank and they make good designated drivers and actually do know when you've had enough.

  4. I would go with a non drinker as long as she wasn't a drink counter, and I would drink as much as I pleased to suit the occasion.

Most times it would be a couple of drinks, but occasionally there would be a "night out".

  5. No. Just ask whomever if they mind that you drink.  Or if you know they don't drink then skip a night, it won't kill ya.

  6. Of course not.

    Good Luck!

  7. I ask whomever wants to go. I don't choose my friends by whether or not they like to drink. If you only go with other drunks, you end up in trouble. When you have a mix of people, you have more fun, end up getting home safer, not drinking as much. I know when to say when, so nobody needs to count mine, if you see you have gone beyond 2? You have really legally and safely exceeded your limit. Hun, you don't drink to get drunk or its just a waste of good booze. Ya just end up acting stupid, making a fool of your self, others, possibly getting a DUI or killing yourself or someon else. Is that really worth it? Non drinkers are really reminders that we need to keep things in check. If we only see them as naysayers, you miss the bigger picture.

  8. Yes ... You always can use a DD.  LOL ... I mean no ....  I shouldn't drink and then answer questions.
