We like to party (i.e pools, bars, night life, etc) and are looking for a cruise in the near future. We tried Royal Caribbean but it was targeted to older folks. Any ideas on Carnival?

  1. Your best bet is one of the three night weekend cruises.  These cruises leave on Friday and return on Monday.  Your next best choice would be one of the four night cruises.

By the time you get to the five night and one week cruises, the atmosphere changes.  The shorter cruises are the "party hardy" cruises.

Next, go to one of the warm water places.  Most of these cruises leave out of Miami.

The ships that do the shorter cruises are the Holiday, Celebration, Fantasy, Fascination, Ecstasy, Elation, Imagination, Inspiration, Sensation and Paradise.

  2. i went on the carnival victory last year. it was really fun. It had lots of bars, night clubs, and pool/hot tubs. it was awesome. but this year on april 26th in going on the carnival triumph. its basicly like a sister of the victory. there ment for the teens, or young adults who are into partying and stuff.

  3. a pp is right 3-5 day cruises usually gear in more younger people who like to party. if you go on 6 days or longer then it will have more families and such on. you will want to stay towards bahamas, baja mexico, and western caribbean ports. the fasination, fantasy, and imagination are ships that gear toward partying. i would stay away from the liberty, freedom, spirit

  4. pretty much any carnival cruise will be better than RCL for partying....and shorter cruises are better and older ships are even better for partying...because they are less expensive too

  5. if you want to party get on any 3day over a weekend younger crowd more partying

  6. maybe libertey

  7. Any Carnival ship will do, especially newer ships. They all have night clubs, discos, pools, plenty of bars, casinos, etc. Obviously, the bigger the ship is, the more facilities it can hold. As of right now, the Conquest-class of ships is the biggest Carnival has. You can view the deck plans here: http://carnival.com/Deck_Plan.aspx?shipC...

  8. I would definitely say one of the newer ships. They have more amenities and there will be more things to do and the waterslide is also amazing. I loved Carnival when I went on it but I was younger, and I was on an older ship at the time. I had a great time, but I didnt really get to experience the bars, clubs, and night life because I was really young, but I did enjoy the service and the pools.
