  1. YES!  haha, they do suck when youre trying to fall asleep, but luckily i have grown used to them that they dont bother me once i have fallen asleep.  but yeah, i feel ya, ive been around them my whole life...even when i got to college they were still around...sad.

  2. I hear them but I don't hear them.  In movie "Blues Brothers," "How often does that train go by?  Oh, so often you want even notice it."  Sometimes when I can't sleep at  night I do hear them but I have a relative who is an engineer so I don't get mad.  Here comes one now.  4:24 AM.

  3. you answer this then, was the train tracks there before you lived there, yes ok go live someware else

  4. I used to live right next to train tracks.

The Rail Roads, due to how loud their horns are, are under immense pressure to only use the horns when needed.

They are not rude, they are blowing them because they are required to.  I forget how far from a crossing they have to begin, but it is a mile or more.  Also stations or other places people can cross the tracks.

There are signs posted along the tracks that tell the engineer when to blow the horn.

If you don't want to move away, look into getting the outside of the house sound proofed.

    They are friggin loud.

  5. and I thought my landlord was the only one who covered the tracks with a tarp when I came to look at the property-or did you think they were abandoned

  6. I should take  tablets for headache everyday

  7. i like the sound of them. besides give them a break, they got nothing better to do all night

  8. Omg Yes! Its so annoying when your trying to sleep or concentraite.
