If you live in California and order something from a store in the same state...?

Would you get the package the day of or the day after they ship it?

Depends on how far (california is a big state). If not too far I would say next day after they shipped, but would not be surprised if it took up to 3 days actually.  You would never get it the day they shipped as it has to go to the distribution center, get processed, and re-directed out onto the truck early enough to be loaded for am delivery (trucks are all loaded for the day very early)--so that would be impossible.
