Why is it so hard to find good friends here in NYC.

I put this question here to hopefully make some new friends on here.. I would like to make friends of all races and genders.

So if you want to email me through here, it would be cool.

Although this is the dining out section, I am happy to help you.

It is hard to find friends in any new areas, and I assume you might be new to NYC?  What about at work or school? In your neighborhood?  Do you try and attend social functions in your area, like the local Y?  Go and browse at book stores or a coffee shop and try to strike up a conversation.

Look at the newspaper to see where there are neighborhood events.

Join a health club or a Y. You are sure to meet people there.
